Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach played out a goalless draw in their Bundesliga clash on Sunday.
The match was played at the Allianz Arena in Munich and saw both teams come close to finding the back of the net but neither could find the breakthrough.
Eintracht Frankfurt striker Youssouf Kamada had a golden chance to put his team ahead in the first half but he missed the penalty kick from the spot.
However, it was Borussia Mönchengladbach who came closest to scoring in the second half when substitute striker Mario Götze equalized for his side.
Götze scored after a long ball from midfielder Julian Weigl found him on the edge of the box and he slotted home the equalizer with ease.
Despite the result, Eintracht Frankfurt will be happy with the fact that they managed to keep a clean sheet against a strong opponent.
They now have one point from two games this season and will look to build on this in their next fixture away to Hamburger SV on Saturday.
